Team Pink @ CSC ride

If you were at the Local CSC Charity ride this Saturday you probably saw your friendly neighborhood BSC team boys at the front.

While this is a 75 mile charity ride with the looming first couple of races just next weekend and many racers form coming on, this ride is treated as a race in every way. All the big players were there Hincapie/Dasani, Carolina Masters, Sledge Hammer Charlies, Bolt Brothers, and the Moto Velo guys. And with a speed average of over 23 mph the ride had enough speed to make it a race.

The BSC team guys had a strong showing, mixing it up with all the big teams. Spencer Gaddy, finished 3rd, coming in just behind the break of Ryan Jenkins and Charlie Brown, but over a minute ahead of the field. Justin Beard came in 5th just ahead of the field also after a last minute attempt to bridge up the breakaway.

The BSC guys are definitely coming on form for the 08 race season.

Yoga on Hold

Yoga is on hold until Monday Jan 8th. I know everyone is disapointed they can't be made fun of for having small(see weak) arms via Claire.

Claire has been sick and Ethan has caught whatever Claire has. So if you coming in the shop looking for a balding jewish man he won't be there, neither will Claire for that matter.

Anyways wish thisem a get well better or something like that.

Layla gets a new ride

One of the shops racers Layla Bilowitz just got a new custom Ti ride for the 08 season. Look for her to be be dominating the ladies in the SE in 08.

Niner frames come and get them

We're currently running a special on niner frames, and its that time of season where you supposed to be hanging out in the trees.

No Yoga tonight (Friday)

There will not be a yoga class tonight..Pip's son is sick. But, tomorrow night (class begins @ 6:00pm) show up to the shop with a mat and comfortable clothing. All levels are welcome..if you are new to yoga show up and see what it is all about.

Evidently your only allowed to race it

I just wanted to take a quick second to highlight a really nice full suspension 26 that went out of the shop recently.

A long time customer of the shop came in in April and said he wanted a really light race bike for 07. And 5 months later this is what came in.

Yoga/ Roller night

We're bringing back Roller night from last winter but now with Yoga before hand. Claire is going to be teaching yoga, shes an awesome teacher who's been teaching for 5+ years and knows how to focus her style of power/ashtanga yoga to a cyclists needs.

Schedule is as follow.
W/F/S - Yoga @ 6pm - Rollers @ 7pm

Your local neighborhood cycling team may be there to keep you comapny. And just like last winter the movie will be cycling related.

Reminder: please bring your own mat, we have a few extra sets of rollers for people to use but if you need to use a set of the shops rollers please let us know ahead of time.

BSC and CX loving

CX season is in full swing here at BSC, Claire has taken to racing cx with ease, Spencer and Max have almost perfected the art of crashing, and Justin K, Justin B and Mark are all doing well. And well Ethan at least bought a cx bike.

Barry wicks won the SS Cyclocross championships in Oregon, the gold shorts are the winners kit.

I think thats a sacha hes holding, although he didn't race on it I wonder if he won it.

IMPORTANT - Schedule change

The Shop will be closed Saturday and Sunday, something about Steve going crazy and hitting people with wrenchs or maybe cyclocross, I dont remember. Either way don't show up we wont be there. Actually, we will be heading up to Hendersonville for the NC Grand Prix Cross Race.... Check out the Video
